We have three waves of testing, with wave 3 coming up in a few days. We are still fiddling with getting the best balance between the A and B groups, but because it is a F2P model, we cannot control for the experiment in real time. To do that, we need a large control group, which is not possible with the F2P model.
After the experiment is over, we are going to deploy an app that will be used to host the experiment. It is going to be a survey, but it will also provide a game, social, and newsfeed. We want the users to keep an eye on the progress of the testing, this way we can learn about the number of players and their habits. This is why we cannot run our experiment as a F2P model. We hope it will work for us.
We have not yet started our third testing wave, but we have started our second. So far, the results are mixed. We have found that the fish treatment is very effective. We find the e-mail reminder is the most effective, with the live broadcast producing the least amount of change. We are still investigating the best way to record and analyze the data. We are also investigating the experiment ourselves in order to understand what did not work well.
You can tag enemies in each mode, and then call them to your location. Simply tap the back-button to tag an enemy, and they'll appear on the mini-map. You can then drag them to another place, or even tap on a location. You can tag two enemies at once, but only if they're in the same room. If so, they'll appear as a yellow icon on the mini-map, and you can drag them to a new position. You can also select individual enemies to tag. Just tap an enemy's name to the bottom left of the mini-map, and they'll appear in orange.
When selecting multiple enemies, you can tap the target icon at the bottom of the screen to tag them all at once. The reason this is required in many games is because, believe it or not, people like to tag multiple enemies and get away. So any kills you make while selecting a group of enemies will be counted as a single kill. This results in an average you have to make, and makes the game easier for those who prefer this method. But hey, I play the game the way I like to play it. I like to play it hard. That's why I'm willing to tag multiple enemies if they're in the same room, and ignore any kills I make while selecting them. 827ec27edc
