You have now successfully installed the 32 bit version of the Access Database Engine. Like this, it is not possible to install the 32 bit version of the Access Database Engine for Office 2013 though!

Note: In the past, the 32 bit and 64 bit versions were installed in two separate folders. They are now both in one folder. So you can still install the 32 bit version of the Access Database Engine 2007/2010 (actually all versions).

So you have to do some more manual work (?). First, you have to manually uninstall the old 32 bit Access Database Engine from the control panel. Then you have to manually download the previous 32 bit version from the Internet (link is not valid anymore). Then you have to manually install it. Then you have to manually set the path to the 32 bit Access Database Engine in the Access Security Settings dialog. And then you have to manually set the path to the 32 bit Access Database Engine in the Registry Editor.

When you use Microsoft Office Access Database Engine 2010 (14.0.7015.1000) to open your 97-2003.xls files and save them again in the same format (97-2003.xls), you bump into another error. System.Data.OleDb.OleDbException (0x80040E37): The Microsoft Access database engine could not find the object 'Sheet1 827ec27edc
